This Privacy Policy explains how Poiera (“Poiera,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you use poiera.com, the Poiera web application, and related services, features, and integrations (collectively, the “Service”).
By using Poiera, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Poiera is an AI-powered advertising creative platform designed to help businesses research advertising ideas, analyze brand information, generate advertising creatives and copy, manage creative assets, and prepare or publish advertising content to connected advertising platforms.

Information We Collect
We collect and process information reasonably necessary to provide, operate, secure, and improve Poiera.
Account and Authentication Information
When you create or use a Poiera account, we may collect:
- your name;
- email address;
- account identifiers;
- login and authentication information; and
- information you provide when contacting us for support.
If you choose Continue with Google, Poiera may receive basic account information made available by Google, such as:
- your name;
- email address;
- Google account identifier; and
- basic profile information made available through the permissions you grant.
We use this information to:
- create and authenticate your Poiera account;
- maintain your login session;
- secure your account; and
- provide account-related functionality.
Poiera does not use Google Sign-In to access your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or other Google account content.
We do not use Google user data for advertising or unrelated profiling.
Brand and Product Information
When you provide a business website, product page, or other brand information, Poiera may process:
- website and product page URLs;
- brand names and logos;
- brand colors and visual assets;
- product or service information;
- target audience information;
- value propositions;
- customer needs or pain points; and
- information you add to or edit within a Brand Kit.
We use this information to create and maintain your Brand Kit and to personalize advertising research and content generation.
User Content
You may submit, upload, generate, or store content through Poiera, including:
- prompts and chat messages;
- images and videos;
- logos and brand assets;
- product information;
- advertising copy;
- website and advertisement URLs;
- landing page URLs;
- generated advertising creatives; and
- other content you choose to provide.
We refer to this information collectively as “User Content.”
We process User Content to provide features you request, including advertising analysis, creative research, image and video generation or editing, advertising copy generation, Creative management, and advertising preparation.
Advertising Research Data
Poiera may process publicly available or commercially available advertising information obtained from advertising libraries and third-party data providers.
This may include:
- advertising creatives;
- advertising copy;
- advertiser or Page information;
- advertising delivery information;
- destination URLs;
- product-related information; and
- other publicly or commercially available advertising signals.
We use this information to provide features such as competitor advertising research, Ad Spy, creative analysis, and advertising inspiration.
Meta Advertising Data
If you choose to connect a Meta advertising account, Poiera may process information relating to Meta business assets that you authorize Poiera to access.
Depending on the permissions granted and features used, this may include:
- Meta Ad Account identifiers and names;
- campaigns;
- ad sets;
- Facebook Pages;
- connected Instagram accounts;
- advertising configuration information;
- advertisements associated with connected accounts; and
- advertisements created or managed through Poiera.
We use this information only to provide Meta advertising functionality requested by you.
When you instruct Poiera to create an advertisement, relevant Creative content and advertising configuration may be transmitted to Meta through Poiera's advertising integration providers.
Where supported by the Service, new advertisements are created in a paused state by default.
Poiera will not intentionally activate a paused advertisement unless you expressly choose an action instructing Poiera to activate it.
Poiera does not request or store your Facebook or Meta password.
Account access is authorized through approved authorization flows and supporting integration providers.
Access tokens and similar credentials are protected and are only made available to service providers where necessary to operate the authorized integration.
You may disconnect a connected Meta advertising account through Poiera.
After disconnection, Poiera will stop using that connection to retrieve new information from the connected account.
Meta-derived information that is no longer necessary to provide the Service will be deleted or de-identified in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.
Payments
Poiera uses Stripe to process paid subscriptions and purchases, including Extra Credits.
Stripe may process payment information directly on our behalf.
Poiera may receive information such as:
- your subscription plan;
- billing status;
- payment status;
- transaction and invoice information;
- purchased credits;
- billing country; and
- limited payment-related information provided by Stripe.
Poiera does not store your full payment card number.
Technical and Usage Information
When you use Poiera, we may automatically process technical information such as:
- IP address;
- browser and device type;
- operating system;
- pages and features used;
- timestamps and session information;
- approximate location derived from technical information;
- diagnostic and error information; and
- security logs.
We use this information to:
- operate and secure Poiera;
- prevent fraud and abuse;
- diagnose technical issues;
- understand product performance; and
- improve the Service.
Cookies and Analytics
Poiera uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, and analytics.
We currently use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with Poiera.
Poiera configures analytics tools to minimize the collection of directly identifying information.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying account information to Google Analytics.
Analytics information used for product analytics is processed in aggregated, anonymized, or pseudonymized form, and Poiera does not use analytics information to identify individual users.
Where required by applicable law, non-essential analytics technologies will be used only after appropriate consent has been obtained.

How We Use Information
We may use information described in this Privacy Policy to:
- provide and operate Poiera;
- create and manage accounts;
- authenticate and secure users;
- analyze websites, products, and brands;
- build and maintain Brand Kits;
- provide advertising research and Ad Spy functionality;
- generate and edit advertising images, videos, and copy;
- create and manage Creatives;
- personalize requested AI functionality;
- connect authorized Meta advertising accounts;
- prepare, create, or activate Meta advertisements when instructed by users;
- process subscriptions and credit purchases;
- provide customer support;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- diagnose technical issues;
- understand and improve product usage; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
Poiera does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
AI Service Providers
Poiera uses third-party artificial intelligence and machine learning services to provide functionality such as:
- brand and product analysis;
- content analysis;
- advertising research;
- advertising copy generation;
- image generation and editing; and
- video generation and editing.
When you request an AI-powered feature, relevant portions of your User Content may be transmitted to an AI provider only to the extent reasonably necessary to perform the requested functionality.
Depending on the feature, this may include:
- prompts;
- Brand Kit information;
- product information;
- images;
- videos;
- advertising references; and
- other User Content you choose to provide.
Poiera does not authorize AI service providers to use User Content for their own independent advertising, profiling, or unrelated commercial purposes.
Poiera uses provider configurations, business or paid APIs, contractual safeguards, opt-out mechanisms, and other available data controls designed to prevent User Content submitted through Poiera from being used to train or improve third-party providers' general-purpose models.
AI providers are permitted to process User Content only as necessary to provide functionality requested through Poiera and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
Poiera does not sell User Content to AI model providers.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Poiera relies on third-party service providers to operate and deliver the Service.
Depending on our production infrastructure and the functionality you use, these providers may include:
- Cloud infrastructure, hosting, database, storage, and content delivery: services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Supabase, Vercel, and Cloudflare;
- Payments: Stripe;
- Analytics: Google Analytics;
- AI processing: selected AI model, image-generation, and video-generation providers;
- Advertising integrations: service providers that enable Poiera to connect with Meta advertising services;
- Authentication and security: providers used to authenticate users and protect accounts; and
- Communications and technical operations: providers used for transactional communications, diagnostics, and service reliability.
These providers may process information only as reasonably necessary to provide services to Poiera and are subject to applicable contractual, confidentiality, security, and data protection requirements.
We may also disclose information:
- when you direct Poiera to interact with a third-party service, such as Meta;
- when required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or valid legal process;
- when reasonably necessary to detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity;
- when necessary to protect Poiera, our users, or others; or
- as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of some or all of the Service or business, subject to applicable law.
We do not disclose User Content to third parties for their independent advertising purposes.
Security
Poiera uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and User Content.
Personal information and User Content stored in Poiera's production systems are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption.
Information transmitted between users, Poiera, and our service providers is protected in transit using secure communication protocols such as HTTPS/TLS.
We also use access controls and security practices designed to restrict access to information to systems and personnel that require access for legitimate operational purposes.
However, no internet-based system or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data Retention
Poiera retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, protect the Service, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
For example:
- account information may be retained while your account remains active;
- Brand Kits and User Content may be retained until deleted or until you request deletion;
- connected advertising information may be retained while necessary to provide the requested integration;
- billing and transaction records may be retained where necessary for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes; and
- security and diagnostic information may be retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes.
After a verified request for deletion of an account and associated personal information, we generally aim to complete deletion within 30 days, unless continued retention is required or permitted by applicable law.
We will also instruct applicable service providers to delete information where required.
Some residual information may temporarily remain in encrypted backups until those backups are deleted or overwritten through our normal backup lifecycle.
Data Deletion
All Poiera users may request deletion of personal information associated with their account, regardless of where they live.

Following a verified deletion request, we will delete or de-identify personal information and connected-platform information that is no longer necessary, subject to limited exceptions permitted or required by law.

Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights relating to your personal information.
These may include the right to:
- request access to personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion;
- request a portable copy of certain information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
- opt out of certain sale, targeted-advertising, or profiling activities where applicable; and

Poiera and its service providers may process information in different countries or regions.
As a result, personal information may be processed outside the country where you live.

Age Requirements
Poiera is intended for businesses and professional users.
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Poiera account.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
If we become aware that personal information from a person under 18 has been collected in violation of this requirement, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
